Amanda and Jake: Jacuzzi Family Vineyards Wedding

I love editing a wedding. After the crazy rush of the day there is this quiet unveiling of the images that follows: the satisfaction of capturing a moment as I saw it, being surprised by a look or gesture I didn't notice at the time, observing how all the pictures come together to tell a bigger story.

As I'm editing Amanda and Jake's wedding I keep having to laugh at how happy this couple is. And excited. And hopeful. They are expressions you don't get to see every day. And that's why you'll find me early in the morning or late at night stealing time at my desk, combing through this celebration, turning over and polishing each image like a beautiful treasure.
